Busy Day for the Steelers.

Tuesday is a busy day for the Sheffield Steelers players - on and off the ice.

First thing on Tuesday morning they will have a long off ice training session at the Institute of Sport before heading to the Arena for on ice training.

Once complete they will be in the hands of Dave Burnham who will complete the recording of the Steelers new on ice introduction that we hope will be ready for Saturdays home game against the Cardiff Devils

Burnham told the Steelers web site "as long as the players are on top form on Tuesday afternoon we will be fine for Saturday. The new intro is looking very good and we just need to complete it with some training shots. I will get these at the Institute and then some more at the Arena, i can't wait to see it on the big screen. I think the fans will love it"

One player that will have to break away from the photo shoot is Danny Meyers. At 3pm today he is being interviewed by BBC Radio Sheffield for an interview that you will be able to hear tonight (Tuesday) on the Football show - make sure you tune in.

In the next 48 hours all the remaining dasher / advertising boards will be completed as well as the new scoreboard branding boards.
