DeCaro Moves to Norway - Steelers Search for New Goalie

John DeCaro has left the Sheffield Steelers, half way a two year agreement, to join Norwegian side Sparta Sarpsborg

Head coach Ryan Finnerty confirmed "We are sorry to see Johnny leave, I thought he had a good year for us, at times he kept us in many games on his own. We thought didn't have to worry about goaltending this summer as Johnny was returning for a second year and to complete his education.

"Johnny though received a fantastic offer from Norway, one he thought he couldn't refuse. We wish he was still with us but he isn't so we move on and find another goalie to build our team around. It's still very early and I'm sure we will find a goalie that can lead us to success. In the meantime we wish Johnny well"
