Follow the Steelers on the Road



The Sheffield Steelers supporters club are organising away travel for the Steelers - for their game in Coventry next weekend and to Nottingham on the 22nd September.

You can book your away travel by various methods.

1. Visit the SSSC Away Travel Desk on match nights at the Arena or Ice Sheffield

Also on sale is the Belfast Weekend at £225 for adult members, £235 for non members and the Braehead/ Edinburgh weekend.

Coach departs from the Motorpoint Arena on Thursday 25th October at 8am for the journey to Cairnryan, arriving in plenty of time for the 3.30pm ferry and arriving in Belfast at 5.45pm. The coach will then take you to the Ramada Encore, which is situated close to the Odyssey Arena and only a five minute walk to the City Centre. Accommodation is for 3 nights and includes breakfast.

For those passengers who have not visited Belfast before, there are many places of interest. There are bus tours around the city and of course the famous black cab taxi tours, where you can learn about the history of the divided city and visit the peace wall. Other places to visit include Stormont and an absolute must is the Crown Pub

On Saturday there is an optional trip to the Giants Causeway, departing at 10am and returning in plenty of time for the match. The price for this is £10 per person and can be booked at the SSSC desk up until the 30th September  After this time it will be open to independent travellers who wish to join us.

On Sunday 28th the coach will depart from the hotel after breakfast ( time to be confirmed) ready for the 11.30am ferry back to Cairnryan and the journey back to Sheffield
