Shirt Launch a Success
Over 500 Steelers fans turned up at the Holiday Inn on Thursday evening for the Shirt Launch - Good news for the club was that the hundreds of shirts were SOLD
Good news for the fans was that the new shirts were well received and players look a million dollars in them.
The event started for many of the Steelers sponsors at 6.30pm when they were presented with their framed shirts, then the team moved to the main hall where the room was packed with fans waiting to see their new stars.
John DeCaro was first up and received a huge welcome back, he was followed by new signing Colin Shields.
Last up were two of the new guys, Cory Pecker and Sheffield's own Danny Wood - mind you the Sheffield accent has long gone and the American twang replaced it.
Ryan Finnerty had a standing ovation for putting together such a great squad - he told the fans "I'm excited the players are excited now it's time to take it to the ice and start the job"
