Signings Soon says Finnerty
Head coach Ryan Finnerty met Steelers owner Tony Smith on Tuesday to discuss team building plans for next season
"It was important i met with Tony before I head back to North America" said Finnerty "All is good and we are certainly heading in the right direction
"It's still very early as far a bulk new signings are concerned, players are just getting home from playing in Europe and many back home are still playing in the play off's and the last thing they are thinking about is coming to England next year
"We have some irons in the fire and I think we will have one or two new signings to the club as early as the end of this month but we certainly won't be rushing, we have a few months to ensure we get the right players and more importantly the right people
"I think its common knowledge that we will be making a lot of changes in our import group and maybe we have a British player or two that we will add to our roster from last year.
"As I said it was important for Tony and I to meet, we are agreed on the direction we are taking and now its up to me to find the players to fill the wholes we have remaining"
