The Steelers Crew make the Final GB Team

Steelers Captain Jonathan Phillips heads a Sheffield contingent heading to Slovenia on Saturday with the Great Britain national side competing in the World Championships.

Phillips, Jason Hewitt, Mark Thomas, Geoff Woolhouse and new signing Colin Shield all made the final cut for the Team GB's three day training camp in Manchester.

GB will open their campaign against host side Slovenia on Sunday evening before playing games against Austria, Ukraine, Japan and Hungry over the following week.

Phillips said "Its been a good three days of training and meetings. We are a strong group who have been here before and know what's expected of us. From a Steelers view point its amazing that we have four players here, it would have been five if Ashley hadn't been injured, we all want to do the club and the Country proud"
