There’s a Storm coming this Sunday at 4pm

Our first Sunday home game of the season
Will you be there?

With 3 points from our first two Cup games, all attention turns to this weekend with a road game against the Panthers on Saturday, followed by our first Sunday home game against Manchester Storm (4pm)

With two crowds both over 8,000 already this season, we are expecting another bumper night of hockey action and family entertainment and encourage you to join us this Sunday

The Storm also collected 3 points from their opening weekend, beating Coventry at home and taking a further point in a OT loss at the Skydome arena the following night.

It will be the Manchester Storm’s first visit to Sheffield under new head coach Cam Critchlow though he is no strange to the Arena after playing over 300 times for the Storm since joining the club as first a player, then captain, back in 2019.

Critchlow retained the services of long time assistant coach (and last years interim coach) Mike Morin.

Steelers will come into the game unbeaten at home this season after an OT exhibition win against Cardiff and last Saturday’s convincing victory over Guildford Flames.

New signing Derek Gentile scored the game winner in the Cup game over the Flames, in fact he scored twice in the 5-2 win.
