Chance for Ivan to Shine Vs the Blaze on Saturday
A huge weekend for the Steelers with two home games in two nights, starting on Saturday evening with a 7pm face off against Coventry Blaze.
On Sunday the Steelers are back in action against Fife Flyers (4pm) with this game almost sold-out
It’s all part of the Steelers “Pride Weekend” part of the EIHL initiative.
Over 16,000 fans are expected to visit the arena this weekend, with Sunday’s game against Fife almost Sold-Out
Speaking ahead of the home double header, head coach Aaron Fox confirmed that Ivan Björkly Nordström would be called up from the Sheffield Steeldogs
Björkly Nordström has already dressed three times for the Steelers scoring a goal and an assist
“It’s another opportunity for Ivan and we are excited to see what he can show us
“The boys have had a few days off and whilst we still have some issues I am hoping that the time away will have helped the group and we come back refreshed”
