“Character Win” says Fox after victory in Cardiff

Aaron Fox Post Game

“That was a character win and one the boys deserved” said head coach Aaron Fox following his sides come from behind 4-3 road win in Cardiff

“We perhaps didn’t play our best for the first 40 but led by Whistle, Kielly and Juusola in the final period we dug in and found a way

“We swapped a few line combinations around at the end as we try and find the right balance and that included moving Cole Shudra to D (following Kevin Tansey’s exit from the game) for the last 20, he did really well

“We have to be pleased with the two results this weekend and there is certainly a good feeling in the room tonight after Scotty’s winner for sure”

Fox also paid tribute to man of the match Patrick Watling saying “We do have a special player there, he showed that this evening with more than just his two goals

“We head home for another good week of practise before Saturday’s league opener against Coventry Blaze”
