Cormier and Shudra Commit for 25-26

… and it’s 2 more years for Dominic Cormier

Head coach Aaron Fox has added two more names to the roster of the Steelers for the 2025-26 season

Both Dominic Cormier and Cole Shudra have committed to the Steelers, in fact Cormier has signed a new two year deal.

Shudra, son of Steelers legend Ron Shudra played his first game for the club back in 2016 but his development has seen him spend time in Milton Keynes, Leeds and the Steeldogs.

Cole is presently away in Rumania with the Great Britain national side whilst Dominic Cormier has returned home to North America.

Head coach Aaron Fox spoke about the return of Dominic Cormier “Corms is back on a 2 year deal and has been fantastic for us from the moment he showed up.

” He is an elite skating and puck moving D who has been a huge point producer for us. With how fast we want to play he’s a perfect fit in our system and has really bought into what we do.

“Dom played the majority of the year with Joona and they were excellent together. To get him locked in for 2 years is great for us a group”.

Cole has played 310 games in Orange scoring 22 goals and 53 points. In total, 363 EIHL games with 29 goals and 62 points.

Aaron Fox on the return of Cole Shudra “Shuds back is another no brainer for us. Another big bodied Brit that I think is ready to take the next step into becoming a player that can move up in the lineup and bring more offence to his game.

“After his season with GB ends I think he will have a great summer and hit the ground running next season”.
