It seems like every week our Captain continues to make club and Elite League History.
On Sunday, just 47 seconds in to the game against Dundee, Dowdy scored his 400th Elite League goal, and in doing so became the first player in league history to reach that milestone.
Dowdy had made us wait after racing from 395 to 399 in a 10 day period, goal number 400 had to wait 9 further games.
Mitchell Balmas made the assist and said after wards “It was great to be a part of his big moment, 400 goals is an incredible number”
Dominic Cormier was also on the ice and was seen waving the team off the bench and onto the ice to join the celebrations “this was one for all of us” he said after “Dowdy, his team mates, the coaches and the fans, we all love Dowdy and it was cool for 8000 of us to show him what he means and what a great achievement this was”
