The defence of the league title starts at the arena on Sunday with Belfast visiting at 4pm
Last weekend it was the start of our Challenge Cup defence, and we came away with 5 out of 6 points.
This coming Sunday we commence the start of our Elite League Championship defence when the Belfast Giants come to the Utilita Arena (4pm face off)
The Giants are tipped by many to be the Steelers main contenders this season, so early in the year we have one of those hugely important fixtures.
Last season the Steelers took 11 points off the Belfast Giants including two home wins at the arena
On Monday morning the Arena reported ticket sales already in excess of 6,000 so another fantastic crowd awaits us on Sunday for the 4.00pm face off (doors opening at 3.00pm)
