Steelers can confirm that Brett Neumann has left the club in order to take up an opportunity in Switzerland with EHC Winterthur.
Neumann played 2 seasons with the Steelers and was an important member of the 2024 Grand Slam side.
Head Coach Aaron Fox said “Brett came back as a core piece and was able to help us achieve our goals.
“Dealing with an injury the 2nd half of the year I think he gave us everything he could and appreciate everything he’s brought to the club.
“I Wanted to wish Brett best of luck in Switzerland. It’s a great opportunity for him to play in a league with only a couple imports and experience another country.
From everyone at the Steelers, we wish Brett all the very best in the future and thank him for all of his efforts in helping us create the great memories we have all made this season.
