It’s a welcome back to the UK and Sheffield for Angus Laing, a goalie who trained with the Steelers and their apprentices back in 2017, before heading off to the US to learn his trade and study at university.

Born in Edinburgh, the 24 year old is keen to push on his career with this, his first year professional.

Sheffield has already been home to Gus who played in the Sheffield Academy between 2015 and 2017 where he also made an appearance for the GB under 18’s side.

“This will be a great opportunity to develop and learn a lot from two other very good goalies” said Head Coach Aaron Fox “being on the ice in a professional set up will help Gus move forward”
