Brett Neumann made a great impression on coaching staff, teammates and fans during his first year with the Steelers, earning the 24 year old centre a new contract for the season ahead.

Neumann hails from Toronto, Canada and played his junior hockey in the OHL with both Kingston and Oshawa

Turning professional in 2020 with time in both Allen Americans (ECHL) and Bridgeport (AHL)

An injury hit 21-22 seasons saw Brett move to Europe with a short spell in ICEHL with Orli Znojmo before arriving on our shores last year

In 58 league and play-off games Neuman was second in team scoring, netting on 25 occasions scoring 48 points

Head coach Aaron Fox speaks highly of Neumann and expects his progression to continue “Brett benefited from a full season with us last year and also found his offensive touch once again
