A second season in Sheffield for 32-year-old winger Daniel Ciampini who returns to lead the clubs offensive charge for a championship.

Ciampini led Steelers scoring last year with 17 goals and 48 points in 51 games playing on an impressive line with Brett Neumann and Scott Allen.

Born in Concord, Ontario Ciampini studied at Union Collage in the NCAA making his name as a top prospect.
Between 2015 and 2019 Ciampini played 282 American League and East Coast Hockey League games with the likes of Worcester, Rockford, Indy, Ontario, Manchester, Belleville and Brampton

Europe beckoned in 2019 and in the seasons since Daniel has performed in Norway, Austria, Italy, Czechia and now the UK.

Head coach Aaron Fox said “Champ is a player any coach would love to have on their team, a player I can use in any situation, responsible in his own end and dangerous offensively. He can kill penalties as easily as he can run the power-play.

“Returning for a second season he will know better the league and what is expected, he is a leader on our team both on and off the ice”.
