Robert Dowd is Steelers royalty after celebrating his testimonial season with the club last year

Dowds list of honours and records is long one after he passed Jeff league’s all time Elite scoring record for the club last year and is now sat on 313 goals in Orange (a total of 631 points)

With 741 appearances only Jonathan Phillips has played more games for the club with Ron Shudra and Steve Nemeth the only players scoring more points.

Dowds eye for goal and relentless work ethic sets him aside for club and country, he has not only won multiple league and play off titles for the Steelers but also represented GB at all levels including time at the Pool A where he will once again be this coming May after he helped GB senior men’s team win promotion last season.
