Steelers hope to have more signing news to report next week, with head coach Aaron Fox saying “this is a big weekend for us”
The Steelers boss has been busy signing up existing players and attracting new talent to the club ahead of the start of the new season in late August 2025
Already confirmed for the new season is goalie Matt Greenfield, the Elite Leagues MVP for the last two seasons.
Steelers have also retained and confirmed the re-signings of Kevin Tansey, Dominic Cormier, Joona Huttula and Reece Kelly.

Retained forwards that have been confirmed for next season include Captain Robert Dowd, Mikko Juusola, Sam Tremblay and Cole Shudra
Aaron Fox has already brought some new faces to the club ahead of the new season with Ryan Tait joining us from Guildford Flames, Logan Neilson from the Nottingham Panthers and Derek Gentile who played last year at St Mary University
“This is a big weekend and if all goes to plan I am hopefully we can announce another piece of the Steelers jigsaw next week” said Fox “I’m happy where we are right now and we continue to build”
