Messrs: Greenfield, Cormier and Jasper Returning Under Existing Contracts.
The Sheffield Steelers can confirm that three key members of the roster will be returning for the upcoming season, with each player already under contract.
Netminder Matt Greenfield remains committed to the club with two years left on his current deal, continuing to provide consistency and high-level performance between the pipes.

Greenfield set a club record of 25 shut outs for the club at the recent play off final weekend when the Steelers beat Manchester Storm in the semi finals.
On the blue line, defenceman Dominic Cormier will also be back in orange, with one year remaining on his contract. Cormier’s offensive contribution and composure on the puck continue to be a valuable asset to the Steelers’ defensive unit.

Up front, forward Evan Jasper is set to return for the 2026–27 campaign, also with one year left on his deal. Jasper’s energy, work rate, and ability to contribute in key moments make him an important part of the team’s forward group.
