Latest addition to the Steelers squad confirmed at tonight’s game
Steelers have confirmed the signing of Zach Vinnell, formerly of the Glasgow Clan
Vinnell was introduced out on to the ice ahead of tonight’s home fixture with Guildford Flames at the arena.
Head coach Aaron Fox said “We have agreed on a deal with Zach Vinnell.
“Zach is a player who will give us that much needed depth and flexibility in our group especially during this crazy schedule we have the next 5 weeks.
“He’s a solid Defensemen that has also played some forward as well in his career so it gives us a nice swing option as well. With us losing Sam for a minimum of 6 weeks he will join us initially as his injury cover to our roster.
“We wanted to make sure that we were able to find a good fit and someone who understands the situation he’s coming into. He’s looking to work hard and compete for ice time and hopefully help us achieve our goals”.
