Steelers vs Belfast Giants This Sunday (The story so far)

It’s game six of the series … what a series it has been.

Sunday will see the final game of the season between the two top clubs in the Elite League, Steelers and the Belfast Giants.

Game 1 …

You remember this one, the Mitchell Balmas Patrick of penalty shot goals, yes that game.


Game 2 …

A little more convincing from the Steelers though we had to come back from 2-0 down to win this won 5-2.

Patrick Watling playing hurt came through with a brace on another special arena night


Game 3 …

The Giants shut out the Steelers in game 3 with goals from Carpenter, Conway and Kawaguchi

Game 4 …

Steelers with the only road win of the series to date, again coming from 2-0 down with a gutsy performance in Belfast

Game 5 …

15 Days later and the Steelers were back in Belfast, but this time it was the Giants that took the game by 2, Dowd and Watling for the Steelers but a third period strike from Mark Cooper sealed this one.


So after 5 games just one remains and a must win for the Steelers if they are to challenge the Giants for the Elite League title this season.
