BBC Radio Sheffield’s Peter Spence spoke with Head Coach Aaron Fox and forward Mark Simpson last night, following the 5-3 home loss to Manchester Storm
Simpson gave the Steelers some late hope narrowing the gap to a goal (3-4) late in the game
It was the Storms first win at the Arena in 6 years and meant that Steelers lead at the top of the table was cut to 9 points – Steelers do have a game in hand over the Devils, tonight in Dundee.
Mark Simpson scored a short handed goal to bring the Steelers back to within one late in the final period but it wasn’t to be.
