Sheffield Steelers are delighted to highlight another fantastic benefit for our supporters, thanks to our growing partnership with Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
Fans attending Steelers home games at the Utilita Arena can now take advantage of FREE PARKING at Meadowhall, with a convenient Supertram connection taking supporters directly to the Arena.
It’s another great reason to enjoy a night with the Steelers!
Park, Shop, Eat and Watch the Steelers!
With over 12,000 free parking spaces across the shopping centre, Meadowhall is already one of the region’s most popular shopping destinations.
Now, thanks to our partnership, Steelers supporters have another fantastic option when planning their match night.
Why not arrive early, enjoy a little shopping, grab something to eat at one of Meadowhall’s many restaurants and then make your way to the Arena for the game?
It’s a great way to turn a night at the hockey into an even bigger occasion for the whole family.
The Blue Car Park – Your Gateway to the Steelers!
Getting from Meadowhall to the Utilita Arena couldn’t be easier.
We recommend that Steelers supporters make use of Meadowhall’s Blue Car Park, which is conveniently situated close to the Meadowhall Way/Tinsley Supertram stop.
The Green Car Park is also available as part of the arrangement.
From there, supporters can catch the Supertram towards Sheffield and alight at Arena / Olympic Legacy Park, the Arena’s very own tram stop.
After the final buzzer, simply take the tram back towards Meadowhall to collect your car.
The parking is completely FREE, with supporters only needing to pay the normal Supertram fare.
It’s a convenient alternative to parking at the Arena itself, particularly on those busy match nights when thousands of Steelers fans are heading to the House of Steel.
A Partnership That Delivers for Our Fans
The Sheffield Steelers are extremely proud of our relationship with Meadowhall, one of the city’s best-known destinations.
We are always looking at ways in which our commercial partnerships can provide real benefits to our supporters, and this initiative is a fantastic example.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Meadowhall for their continued support of the club and for helping make match nights even more accessible.
So next time you’re coming to watch the Steelers, why not make Meadowhall part of your match night plans?
Park for free, enjoy everything Meadowhall has to offer, and then jump on the Supertram for a great night of Steelers hockey!
