Fox Hints at Another Defensive Addition
Sheffield Steelers Head Coach Aaron Fox has revealed that another new defenceman has signed with the club, with an official announcement expected shortly.
The news comes just hours after the Steelers confirmed the signing of Canadian blueliner Logan Roe, who joins Dominic Cormier, Brien Diffley, Aatu Aarnio and Liam Steele on the club’s blue line for the 2026-27 Elite League season.
Foxy was keeping his cards close to his chest but confirmed the deal has now been completed.
“We have our man,” said Fox. “The fans won’t have to wait too much longer to find out who it is.”
With the defence almost complete, the Steelers are now entering the final stages of building their roster for the new campaign.
Once the latest signing is announced, Aaron Fox will have just two forward positions and one swing player left to complete his squad ahead of the start of the 2026-27 Elite League season.
