Road wins for both sides in the Challenge Cup with the Steelers being shut out at the arena on the 27th September following goals from Hazledine and Tallgerg, two weeks later the Steelers reversed that result with a 5-1 road win, Cliff Pu had a first period hat trick with Evan Jasper and Mitchell Balmas rounding off the scoring
In league play the Steelers have notched up two road wins whilst tonight is the first of the three home games will play against Coventry this season.
18th October saw the Steelers hit the Blaze for 6, this time it was Mitchell Balmas with the HT and other goals from Messrs Dowd, Pu and Harper.
Then, just last Sunday the Steelers scored 5 on the road with Eamon McAdam outstanding between the Steelers pipes (5-1 road win) with goals from Tremblay (2), Heard, Cormier and Juusola.
