Steelers Captain Dowd “I’ll know when it is time to go, and it’s not for a while yet”
A student and Sheffield Hallam University got the quote many reporters have been looking for from Steelers captain Robert Dowd on Wednesday night.
In a press conference for students at the University after the game Robert Dowd was asked about reaching the 900 Elite games milestone and whether he could reach 1000 games “Yes, I’d like to get to a 1000 games and more” said the Steelers captain
“I’m not thinking of hanging the skates up any time soon, my body and mind feels great and I’m not planning on going anywhere.
“I’ll know when the time is right and I’ll end on my terms, I won’t wait to be told, but here’s hooping that isn’t any time soon”
That news will please thousands of Steelers fans whom idolise the Steelers all time goal scoring leader, who is now less than 50 points away from breaking Ron Shudra’s all time points total
