Grand Slam Simpson will always be rememberd in Sheffield
Steelers Grand Slammer Mark Simpson has confirmed his retirement after a short spell in France.
Simpson was an incredible member of the Steelers Grand Slam side and returned last year to complete seasons with the club in total playing 103 cup, league, play off and CHL games, returning 26 goals and 37 assists for 63 points.
Whilst the news of Simpson’s retirement is sad, the good news is that Mark will be returning to the Arena shortly ahead of his return to North America.
The club will of course lay out the “Red Carpet” for the Grand Slammers return and fans will have an opportunity of thanking Mark for his loyalty and incredible service to the club.
