Fox Confirms Transfer News as Seitz Joins the Flames
The Sheffield Steelers have confirmed the transfer of Nick Seitz to the Guildford Flames
Seitz has played 7 league and cup games for the Steelers since his arrival from the Coventry Blaze in the summer picking up 1 assist. Nick found the net for the Steelers in pre season, converting on one of the penalty shots in the road win against Cardiff.
Confirming the transfer head coach Aaron Fox said “We have agreed a transfer with Guildford for Nick Seitz.
“With the addition of Heardo (Mitchell Heard) and Nick not playing a role that both sides had hoped for, and expected, this was right for both parties.
“Sometimes things just don’t work out, we still think Nick is a good player and wish him well. Guildford are thin with injuries at the moment and we were happy with the conditions to agree to move him there”.
Steelers vs. Belfast Giants at the Arena on Saturday (7pm)
Following the mid week 5-1 road victory in Guildford, Steelers return to home ice on Saturday when we take on the Belfast Giants.
It is the first meeting of the season between the two most sucessful sides in the EIHL
