No Ritchie or Shudra but Watson and Steele on the Way from Coventry
Steelers head coach Aaron Fox has confirmed that both Brett Ritchie and Cole Shudra won’t ice for the Steelers this evening in the Play Off semi0final against Cardiff Devils (7pm)
“Brett gave us maybe his best overall weekend as a Steeler last weekend” said Fox
“while knowing he wasn’t likely going to be able to stick around for the playoff Final 4.
“We were obviously hopeful but personal circumstances at home could not be avoided and needed to get back for his family.
“He was a big factor in us advancing here with how hard and heavy he played and obviously is another key guy out for us. We hope everything works out for them”.
Whilst Cole Shudra (injured) will also miss the game Fox confirmed that both Kyle Watson and Liam Steele would make the trip up from Coventry where the Steeldogs lost in their play off semi final against Leeds Knights.
