Steelers add Bailey Yates & Joe Lynch to the group.

Yates signs a two-way Steelers – Steeldogs contract for this year and next

Lynch’s Elite League Rights head to Sheffield Following the Neilson Trade with Fife

Steelers head coach has confirmed that GB U20’s forward Bailey Yates will be joining the Steelers having signed a 18 month long Steelers – Steeldogs two-way contract.

Yates arrives in the UK on Sunday having spent the last three and a half years in North America, most recently in the BCHL with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks

Head coach Aaron Fox said “Bailey is a top young prospect who has signed a two way for the remainder of this year and next season.

“He will start training Tuesday with both groups. Bailey plays with a ton of pace and is a skilled young F who was just announced making the U20 team as a 17 year old. We are looking forward to getting him and working with him. This will add some much needed depth to both clubs.

In addition we have also secured the EIHL rights for Joe Lynch in the Logan agreement. We think very highly of Joe as a player/prospect. His situation is a little more unique but are hoping to get him down and in for some game time ahead of the holidays.
