Goals for Kielly, Ciampini, Vallerand and Shudra send the fans home happy and keep our 100% Challenge Cup record.

A First Period of 2 Halves

Steelers dominated the first 10 minutes and would have thought themselves unlucky to have not led by more than Kameron Kielly’s strike. However, once the Panthers had equalised they took over the majority of play in the second half of the period though the Steeler did hit back with a couple of late chances.

Steelers were off to a flyer with chances for Brett Neumann, Patrick Watling, Cole Shudra and Josh Nicholls.

It was however the returning Kameron Kielly who struck first at 7.46 after great work from Brandon Whistle who laid an inch perfect pass in Kielly’s wheelhouse for him to fire low past the impressive Rok Stoyanovic.

Cole Shudra sat out 2 minutes for hooking at 11.02 and the Panthers were quick to capitalise when Hugo Roy netted a minute later

Panthers then had a fine spell with Anthony Morrone called on to make some big saves.

Steelers came back towards the end of the period and forced Rok into a couple of excellent saves
