Sam Tremblay confirms he is heading home & leaving the Steelers
Sam Tremblay has today confirmed on Instagram that his time in the UK has come to an end and that he will play one final season in North America before hanging up the skates.

Head coach Aaron Fox said “Sam is a heart and soul culture guy who we are definitely going to miss. i’m selfishly disappointed he won’t be back but understand the why, and wish him nothing but the best moving forward.
“He’s the type of player every good team needs and will be hard to replace what he brings every night”

On behalf of everyone at the Steelers and Steeldogs, a huge “Thank You” to Sam, what a great servant he has been to both of our clubs over the past two seasons.
We wish you well moving forward, on the ice in North America next season and in retirement afterwards.
Sam joins Kevin Tansey and Jordon Southorn in confirming that they will not be back in Sheffield next season.
