The summer so far in Sheffield …
Sunday 21st April
Steelers beat Belfast Giants 3-1 to win the play off final against Belfast Giants and in doing so claimed the club’s 3rd Grand Slam.
Monday 22nd April
Steelers attend a Civic Reception at the Town Hall
Thursday 25th April
Steelers confirm that Brett Neumann will be leaving the club to join Swiss side EC Winterthur.
Saturday 27th April
Confirmation that Kevin Tansey has signed a new two-year contract with the club. He will also study at Sheffield Hallam University.
Sunday 28th April
Niklas Nevalainen confirms he is to return home to Finland and will leave the Steelers after two years in Sheffield.
