We beat Guildford & the Sick Bug
Head coach Aaron Fox was delighted with Sunday’s performance against Guildford, especially taking into account the sickness bug that had hit the team last week
“That was a real character win” said Fox “The sickness bug had gone through the room which its why Niklas wasn’t playing, several of the other guys weren’t close to 100% but they gave us everything they had
“The game it’s self, ell I thought we had a great start, especially the first 10 minutes
“We did let them off the hook and gave them life with a couple of turn overs at the end off the second period but we came out for the third flying and were clinical”
Fox doesn’t very often single guys out but he had a special mention for two in particular
“I thought that Brandon Whistle and Mark Simpson were absolutely leading the charge last night
“They both bought energy every single shift and every time they were out there we had something to build off, the rest of the guys fed of them last night”
