Great Road Win in Nottingham Sets Up Home Game vs Manchester on Sunday

Panthers cored in the first minute but for them that was it
Steelers hit four without reply to take the points in Nottingham and now head back home to take on the Manchester Storm tomorrow

Seitz on the blue line makes a play but his shot was deflected before it reached the Panthers goal and Gentile covers up
At the other end Greenfield is called into action making a huge pad save

Second Period
Steelers started the middle period on the power-play and quickly made the Panthers pay by equalising just 29 seconds in when Gentile assisted of Stephen Harpers goal
22.44 and Dougherty for holding gave Nottingham their first power-play of the game, Nottingham pushed but Steelers stood tall with Mikko outstanding on the kill.
Dougherty returned.
26.56 and Steelers had a second, and so did Stephen Harper, with a back post finish as he collected the rebound off a Joona Huttula shot – Steelers lead 2-1
31.02 and Diffley for interference is the call, Panthers again push with Greenfield outstanding – we killed and returned to full strength
Panthers came looking for the equaliser, a scramble in front of Greenfield’s goal but Kelly clears
37.51 and the Steelers on the power-play after a late hit by Armour as he served 2 for kneeing

Third Period
Early chances for the Steeles with Harper and Balmas going close and Grande again making the saves.

53.04 and the Panthers score their 2nd … or do they, Steelers challenge and the referees decide to wipe the goal out, it remains 1-3
