It will be a fifth season between the pipes with the Steelers for Rotherham born Curtis Warburton.

Curtis debuted for the Steelers back in the 2020-21 Elite Series and other than spells with The Bees and with Solway, has been part of the Sheffield senior hocky programme since both with the Steelers and Steeldogs.

Prior to that Curtis came up through the ranks at the Sheffield academy representing England at U15, U16, U18 and U20’s during his progression.

Head coach Aaron Fox said “Curtis coming back in the same role is a no brainer for us.  He’s great in the room and competes hard everyday.  

“Curtis is the type of guy who only wants to get better and do what’s best for the team.  He is the last guy off the ice everyday and is exactly what being a steeler is all about.
