Sam Jones Leaves the Steelers

Aaron Fox Confirms that Jones will move to Europe.

After playing 199 games for the Steelers, Sam Jones will leave the club this summer as he embarks on a move to Europe.

Announcing the news, head coach Aaron Fox said “Sam and I had multiple conversations over the summer and he really wanted to go outside the country and look to build his resume as an import player in Europe. I obviously thanked him for his time here and appreciate what he’s brought into our group. This door isn’t closed and I hope he gets what he’s looking for out of his new opportunity”

On behalf of all at the club we wish Sam all the best in his future and thank him for his great services over the past 199 games
