With the way the weekends Challenge Cup results went, the importance of this Wednesday’s Cup game against Nottingham Panthers, has increased massively.
Cardiff, Sheffield, Coventry and Nottingham are chasing the 2 automatic semi final positions in the group, with a 3rd team placed into a play-off with the 2nd place team of the Northern group. One team will join Manchester and Guildford in missing out all together.
The game between the Steelers and Panthers was originally scheduled for the 11th of the month but was bought forward due to arena scheduling for Wednesday 8th October
