The story of the night…

So much happens when you spend a night with the Steelers!

Sunday 15th October at the Utilita Arena for a home fixture against Dundee Stars in the Elite League

We had two mascots enjoying their experience with the team and what a night they had.

Parker Livingston and George Wright skated with the Steelers and had their photos taken with Marco Vallerand and Robert Dowd.

Our sponsors on the night were CRS (Cosmetic Repair Solution)

Their first job of the night was the ceremonial puck drop. David and Finlay Winterbottom did the duties with the two team Captains pre-game.

Steelers came out on top with a 3-0 victory and shut out for goalie Matt Greenfield

The winners on Sunday night were…

The Dundee Stars man of the match was presented to goalie Kevin Carr by Graham and Alice Davies of Cosmetic Repair Solutions

Another huge 50-50 prize on the night was then won by Lisa Tudor.

Lisa decided to have her cash presented by Matt Petgrave.

The Shirt Off Your Back Winner was Louise Polter and she chose the game worn shirt of Matt Greenfield.

Time for CRS to come back onto the ice for the Steelers man of the match.
Graham and Alice Davies presented the prize to the two goal hero, Josh Nicholls.

Time for the Eddy…

It was the first man of match at home for Josh and that meant his first “Eddy”.

He didn’t disappoint either…

More Winners Post Game…

Rachel Luff was the lucky programme winner and she met up with Colton Saucerman post game.

Will, April and Mark tagged on for a later photo as well.

So many of you helped promote the game against Dundee by sharing a Steelers Facebook post on all your home pages. We draw one lucky winner out to win tickets and a photo on the bench.

Simon Coupe was the winner and he was joined by Emma, Asha and Logan for this great group photo with Sauce.

WOW…. How good did Ella Gilliver look with “Saucerman” painted on her face?

Well, post game she came down to the Steelers bench to meet the main man.

There wasn’t one Face Paint winner… there was two!

Peter Frost was picked up on our eye in the sky camera as a Saucerman lookalike so it was only right he came down for a photo as well.

Inside the sponsors lounge some more awards were being presented.

Our FIVE-GUYS Dance Cam winner was Lucy Bullard, a Steelers fan with a Nottingham Panthers Dad.

Lucy had her prize from Daniel Ciampini and then hung around for a couple of pictures with Robert Dowd – well it had to be done.

Chuck-A-Puck is sponsored by the Utilita Arena, Sheffield and this weeks winner was Lee Copp.

Matt Greenfield presented the prize.

Shall we do it again next Sunday?
